A kind heart and sees people as they are. Ex: She knows that Atticus is a true man treats all people equally. She also doesn’t believe in any of the rumors of Boo Radley.
A benign presence; she is a good listener and responds to Scout in kindly way.
She likes children and lets them play in her yard. (But not in her garden or her flowers)
She is an especially good cake baker.
She hates her house and spending time inside. She likes to be in her garden or on her front porch.
She loves all thing growing. (Flowers, weeds, you name it)
She is intelligent and could speak properly.
Miss Maudie usually takes out her bridgework when talking to Scout.
She was kind to all children; Jem and Dill were also invited for cakes on special days.
She doesn't participate in the town's gossip or spread rumors about other people.
When she sees a weed, it is like a personal battle between her and the weed. She uses an acid that kills the weed, instead of just plucking it from the ground.

Mr. Radley (Boo’s dad) = Foot washing Baptist? What is the message?
Mr. Radly is considered a "foot washing Baptist" because he believes that anything that one takes pleasure in is a sin.
He condemns Miss Maudie for planting flowers because it is something she loves to do.
Mr. Radley thinks one should not spend time outside, but inside reading the bible or serving the Lord.
The message is probably that you can be a good person, like Miss Maudie, who is trusted and beloved by Jem and Scott, and still be a good christian and enjoy yourself-like Miss Maudie enjoys planting and growing her flowers and baking. That you don't have to live your life in a house, being afraid of sin and of enjoying life.

Contact with Boo? What happens?
Jem, Dill, and Scout try to contact Boo to come outside of his house. Jem has a fishing pole that is supposed to reach a window because there is a shutter loose so he can slide his note through it.
The pole is too short and Jem is struggling to get the note inside. The note basically says that they won't hurt him and that they would buy him ice cream. The kids also ask Boo what he does inside all of the time.
As Jem is still trying to get the note into the loose shutter, Dill rings a bell, signaling that someone is coming that way. It happens to be Atticus.
Atticus basically tells them that Boo has the right to his own business with whatever he does inside his house.
Atticus also says that if they wanted to communicate with Boo they should use the front door, and lastly, the kids has to stay away from the house unless they were invited there, and they had to stop playing the game of Boo's life and making fun of any person.
